I have served on the following boards:

• Volunteer for the Pitt County Chapter of the American Red Cross (1999-2001)
• eNC initiative Advisory Board – regional Highspeed internet access advisory (2002/2003)
• Albemarle Area Red Cross board of directors (early 2000s)
• Currituck Co. Airport Advisory Board as vice-chair (early 2009 – 2011)
• Currituck Co. Economic Development Advisory Board as member & chairman (2012-2015)

As part of our farm operations, my mother (Martha), my sister (Ginger) and I established a tradition of giving back to our community.

Each Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, we donate approximately 50 free food assistance boxes to individuals and families throughout Currituck County.

Another function of our farm is agricultural education programs for families and community groups (4-H clubs, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts). I offer these free programs to promote Agriculture in our area.
